How we rank no wagering casinos

Each of the criteria are assessed on a case by case basis. The reviews, however, assess each of the casinos more broadly.

How much is wager-free, 40%
If a promotion states that wagering is not in play, does that extend to all of the casino’s promotions, or just the welcome offer? MrQ does not attach wagering of any kind to its promotions.
What you can keep, 30%
Promotional offers are only good for a certain period of time. Other offers are time limited. For example, if an offer states that you have 48 hours to use the promotion, the offer will lose points. The same logic applies if there is a cap of £250 on the winnings.
What you must spend, 30%
The rules surrounding the qualifying deposit and wager will also be assessed. Usually, the former will take precedence over the latter.

What no wagering means at a UK casino

While the three uses of the term "wager-free" are related, only the first two should be assessed positively.

Type 1No wagering on spin winningsYou get free spins, and whatever they win is paid as cash. This is what MrQ, BetMGM, kwiff and BetVictor offer. The spins themselves have no cash value until they win.
Type 2Wager-free cash rewardsMoney paid straight into your cash balance, such as Duelz's weekly cashback or Casumo's prize drops. You can withdraw it at once.
Type 3"Low wagering" bonusesBonus money you must play through a few times, such as BetVictor's three £10 bonuses at 10x. Casinos sometimes put these next to wager-free spins, and the two are easy to mix up.

Bonus money requires a wager. A £10 bonus, for example, means you have to wager £100. If there is no wagering requirement, that step is removed and money won from bonus spins is cash. At a casino, a bonus may offer free spins. Winnings from free spins are usually bonus money and subject to wagering requirements. But if free spins are offered with no wagering requirements, the winnings are cash.

Look for language such as "paid in cash," "no wagering," or "not subject to wagering requirements." The casinos included in this card provide these terms in their offers.

The catches in no wagering casino offers

Wagering requirements have been eliminated, but other restrictions have taken their place.

Caps on winnings
Some restrict the amount of money that can be won from a bonus. For example, BetVictor limits each £10 bonus to £100, and kwiff limits its bonus to £250, and Duelz limits the daily welcome spin winnings to £100. A restriction like this, particularly on a large win, is unfavorable because it reduces the potential money that can be won.
Short expiry
Spins are typically available for a limited time and if they are not used within that time they expire. Users should claim spins when they will have time to use them.
A qualifying wager
Users' own money is at risk when wagering to release a bonus at BetVictor and BetMGM. MrQ does not have this restriction and users can release the bonus with a deposit only.
Games that do not count
At BetMGM, live casino counts 0% towards the qualifying wager and table games 10%. Bet on the wrong game and the spins never arrive.
Payment exclusions
kwiff does not accept e-wallet or virtual card payments. Make sure you select the correct payment method, as there is nothing the casino will do to correct the payment once it’s made.

A slot machine with an average return to player (RTP) rate of 96% is used in the example. £10 of spins would yield £9.60. Since this offer is of the “no wagering” variety, you keep the full £9.60. A £10 bonus with a 10x wagering requirement would require you to place £100 worth of bets. Due to the 4% house edge, the expected value of those 100 bets would be £6. Therefore, you would lose £4 and you would keep around £6.

The charts illustrate the expected long-term results of a bonus. In the short-term, it is possible to be very unlucky or lucky with the bonus. The charts illustrate that it is often better to take a smaller bonus with lower or no wagering requirements, if available.

BetVictor provides 50 spins worth around £4.80, as well as 3 x £10 bonuses. The bonuses add to around £18, however, the £300 wagering requirement must be fulfilled in 30 days in order to make a withdrawal.

UK rules behind no wagering casino offers

There's no rule preventing a casino from setting a wagering requirement, and the rules that do exist pushed many casinos to remove wagering requirements.

Wagering requirement reduction. On the 19th of January 2026, the Gambling Commission reduced the maximum wagering requirement from bonuses to 10 times the bonus amount from the previously common 35 times. Single product offers. From the 19th of January 2026, a single offer could not be made available for multiple products. For example, a promotion offering “Bet £10 on football and get 50 spins” would no longer be legal. Consequently, all the available offers on this page are for casino products only.

Important details provided. Advertising codes in the UK state that all important details of an offer must be disclosed, and can't be hidden. That is the reason each of the cards in this article provides a summary of the casino's terms and conditions.

Why five casinos we review are not no wagering casinos

We take a look at 10 different online casinos. Of these 10 casinos, 5 state that wagering is required or do not provide any information.

Grosvenor: Its £40 bonus needs £600 of wagering in 30 days, and its 100 spins carry 10x wagering on winnings, capped at £100.
Casumo: The welcome bonus carries 10x wagering on the bonus. Its prize drops for existing players pay cash with no wagering, but there is no wager-free offer for new players.
BoyleSports: The summary terms for its welcome spins give no wagering figure, and its casino bonuses must meet the wagering in their own terms.
LiveScore: None of its published summary terms gives a wagering figure for spin winnings, and the full terms open only after you log in.
Midnite: The offer page calls the spins "non-withdrawable" but gives no wagering figure for what they win.

Are no wagering free spins really free?
