The Commission found numerous customers lost large sums of money and that Casumo failed to protect them by carrying out necessary, and legally required, checks to prevent them from losing more than they could afford. One customer lost £1.1 million in 3 years. Another lost £89,000 in 5 hours.
Casumo failed to prevent money laundering by accepting payslips as evidence of source of funds. Other failures included accepting copy bank statements with gambling wins and wagers, and customer documentation with information obfuscated. Read more in the Commission’s press release.

Withdraw £10 or more. Casumo won’t charge you for a withdrawal if it’s £10 or more, but they will charge you a £3 fee for a withdrawal that’s less than £10.
Casumo may put additional verification on you for a single withdrawal that’s €1,000 or more, or for cumulative withdrawals that are €2,000 or more. Casumo may also require additional verification as to the origin of your funds.
The Casumo welcome offer: 50% up to £100
Located in the UK? Casumo will give you a deposit bonus that’s capped at 10x. The bonus will expire after 7 days, and you will only have a limited selection of games to play in order to fulfill the 10x wagering requirement.
Opt-in, deposit £20 or more, and get a 50% deposit bonus, up to £100. Remember, only the bonus amount is subject to the 10x wagering requirement, the deposit amount is not. Cancel the bonus at any time by withdrawing your cash.
A large portion of the games offered by Casumo will contribute towards the wagering requirement, excluding table games. Contrary to the weighting tables, clause 9.3 states that table games will not contribute at all.
Players that are not new customers will have access to Casumo’s Umo promotions. Umo promotions will give players the opportunity to earn free spins by spinning a bonus wheel, or by participating in Cash Prize Prize Drops.
Casumo terms: the clauses worth knowing
Casumo’s UK Terms and Conditions are governed by English Law and were last updated on the 26th of February 2025.
- No insolvency protection
- The terms say it plainly: customer funds are not protected in the event of insolvency. If Casumo failed, some or all of your balance might not come back.
- £120,000 daily win cap
- You can win up to £120,000 per day across all games. Progressive jackpots are paid in full, with no cap.
- Inactive accounts
- After 12 months without logging in, and a month's warning email, Casumo tries to return your balance. If it cannot, it charges £5 a month.
- Mistaken credits
- Money credited by mistake remains Casumo's. It can take it back from your balance, and treats it as a debt if you have withdrawn it.
- Game faults
- If a game malfunctions, Casumo can remove it and correct balances. Bets made during the fault are void.
- Complaints and law
- Acknowledged within 24 hours, resolved within 8 weeks, then eCOGRA. Disputes fall under the courts of England and Wales.
