Casinos without UKGC fines: each record in detail

The first four companies shown have no record whatsoever. The last four are clean but have a history, which we will disclose.

1 BoyleSports logo

BoyleSports: nothing on record in 12 years

Boylesports Enterprise, account 39469
9.4/10

The BoyleSports brand has no record. There are no notices against the company. We researched the Commission Website and Enforcement Notices since March 2021. No notices were found against the company or its websites.

BoyleSports is the Operator, of those we have reviewed, with the longest completely clean record. Customer Balances are protected as "medium", and withdrawal requests are processed in the hours following the request.

Watch out: Just because a casino has a clean record doesn't mean they process cashouts quickly. Money goes back to each deposit method first.

Casinos without UKGC fines: BoyleSports register entry, account 39469, casino licence since 1 November 2014, 0 regulatory actions
The register: 0 regulatory actions, casino licence since 2014.
Welcome offerUp to 100 free spins for a same-day stake18+. Opt in. New UK and ROI gaming players. Same-day stake of £20/£50/£100 for 20/50/100 free spins at 10p, valid 72 hours. Ends 01.12.26. T&Cs apply. BeGambleAware.org
2 Duelz logo

Duelz: clean since 2017

SuprPlay Limited, account 48695
9.2/10

SuprPlay Ltd has a clean record since they acquired their Casino License in 2017. There are no Enforcement Notices against them or Duelz since 2021.

Duelz has a clean record for 9 years and deserves recognition. They pay cashback in real money and run a straightforward cashier.

Watch out: Be wary: SuprPlay rates customer money "Not Protected", which means customer balances are not protected in the event that the company goes out of business.

Casinos without UKGC fines: SuprPlay Limited, operator of Duelz, register entry, casino licence since 27 September 2017, 0 regulatory actions
The register: SuprPlay's casino licence since 2017, 0 regulatory actions.

3 LiveScore logo

LiveScore: no action since 2020

LiveScore Betting and Gaming (Gibraltar) Limited, account 56859
9.0/10

LiveScore Betting and Gaming (Gibraltar) Limited has been issued a license to operate a casino since the 19th of June, 2020. Since then, no violations have been recorded and there have been no actions taken by the Commission.

Customer money is protected "medium" and 24-hour withdrawals up to £20,000 are allowed. However, LiveScore ranks lower due to shorter company history when compared to BoyleSports or Duelz.

Watch out: The terms and conditions for promotional offers are not made available to the public and only become evident after logging in to your account.

4 Midnite logo

Midnite: a clean record that is only weeks old

Midnite Limited, account 101839
8.0/10

There is no regulatory action recorded against Midnite. A new license, granted on the 11th of August 2026, means the company's history is short.

A shorter history for Midnite than for the companies above leaves Midnite ranking lower.

Watch out: Each withdrawal request is limited to £5,000 and there are no e-wallet or PayPal options.

Casinos without UKGC fines: Midnite Limited register entry, account 101839, casino licence since 11 August 2026, 0 regulatory actions

Rank Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited, account 57924
7.4/10

Rank Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited has run Grosvenor's online casino since the 11th of March, 2022 and has no regulatory actions recorded during this time.

Prior to this, in January of 2022, another company within the Rank Group, which at that time operated Grosvenor Casinos, reached a settlement for £700,557 for Social Responsibility failings. In 2021, Daub Alderney, which is also part of the Rank Group, was fined £5.85 million over sites that did not include Grosvenor.

Watch out: Be aware: grosvenorcasino.com is part of the settlement, so the history is not solely on the company in question.

Tek Fox Ltd, account 60629
7.2/10

The first entry for Tek Fox Ltd is on 29 September 2023, and there is no regulatory action on the company to date.

A week prior to taking over the company, Lindar Media Limited agreed to pay £690,947 to the Commission for a number of failings at MrQ.com. The company was MrQ. The website is the same, but the company is not.

Watch out: Be aware: the settlement was only recently finalized and is regarding the current website.

7 kwiff logo

kwiff: no company fine, two directors warned

Eaton Gate Gaming Limited, account 44448
6.9/10

Kwiff is operated by Eaton Gate Gaming, who also hold a licence to operate a casino, and are also not subject to any penalties.

The Commission issued personal warnings to the Directors in August 2024, for a similar reason to MrQ; failures to put appropriate measures in place to ensure the Company complied with laws regarding Money Laundering and Customer Interaction.

Watch out: Be aware: personal warnings are not documented on a Company’s Register Entry, therefore a search of the Director’s name would be required.

Recro Limited, account 61549
6.6/10

On the 21 December 2023, the License held by Recro Limited for Casumo was transferred to them, with no regulatory action documented.

Casumo is fined more than any other casino we review. In March 2021, Casumo Services Limited, the operator of casumo.com at that time, had £6,000,000 imposed upon them for inadequate procedures to protect customers and to prevent money laundering. The Gambling Commission issued an official warning to them as well.

Watch out: Customer money is considered "Not Protected" by Recro as well.

How we checked each casino for Gambling Commission fines

A register alone does not give the full picture. Four requests, for each casino.

  1. 1The register entry

We accessed the public register of the Commission and reviewed the regulatory actions, if any, for each.

  2. 2Every enforcement notice since 2021

The register does not cover the Commission's entire history. We accessed the Commission's enforcement and prosecution news for the remaining information and coverage.

  3. 3Previous licence holders

We also accessed the records for any previous companies that owned and operated the casino websites.

  4. 4The people in charge

We also accessed the personal records of directors and managers for any previous or ongoing regulatory actions.

A casino is listed here only if its current license holder has no prior actions, settlements, or warnings. Older actions, or actions against other people, are shown, and points are removed, from the total. See our Gambling Commission Fines since 2021 for more. The total is searchable by casino or website.

Two casinos we review that have been fined

In both cases the company that paid is the one holding the licence today.

  • £2mBetVictor, February 2022BV Gaming agreed to pay £2 million after the Commission found fairness, social responsibility and money laundering failures. BV Gaming still holds the licence.
  • £1.32mBetMGM, August 2022LeoVegas Gaming PLC, whose licence BetMGM runs on, was fined for social responsibility and money laundering failures, with a warning and an audit.

Both companies are licensed, and BetVictor has the highest level of protection for customer funds, of the 10 we reviewed.

What UK casinos get fined for

Since March 2021, the Commission has imposed 75 penalties and settlements of £50,000 or more.

Safer gambling failures come first. Sixty-three of the penalties and settlements were for failing to protect customers from harm (known as 'intervention' in gambling industry jargon).

Money laundering is close behind. 60 of the 75 involved anti-money laundering failures, such as letting customers deposit large sums without checking where the money came from. That is why licensed casinos now ask for bank statements and payslips: see source of funds checks.

Self-exclusion and marketing Penalties for marketing to and/or accepting self-excluded individuals accounted for six of the total. Other penalties and settlements were for other failures, including insufficient systems for self-exclusion and inadequate monitoring of money laundering.

The absence of penalties and settlements against a gambling company indicates that the Gambling Commission has not discovered major regulatory breaches.

The biggest UK online casino fines since 2021

The largest penalties and settlements against gambling companies over the last five years equals £14 million.

  1. Entain (LC International), 2022£14.00m
  2. William Hill (WHG International), 2023£12.50m
  3. Unibet (Platinum Gaming), 2025£10.00m
  4. 888 UK, 2022£9.40m
  5. In Touch Games, 2023£6.10m
  6. Gamesys (Jackpotjoy, Bally Casino), 2024£6.07m
  7. Casumo Services, 2021£6.00m

All of these examples concern failures in relation to money laundering and safer gambling. The £6 million fine on Casumo, which is run by a different, compliant company today, is one of the largest handed out to a company.

The total amount paid by Entain was £17 million, of which LC International paid £14 million. William Hill’s £12.5 million was part of £19.2 million distributed between its different subsidiaries. Our article details all fines exceeding £50,000.

What a clean Gambling Commission record does not tell you

The record should be considered as one factor.

  • How long the record runs

Of the eight companies in this report, four do not have a record older than 2022 and one, Midnite, does not have a record older than 2026. A short record is of little value.

  • Whether your money is protected

Both Casumo and Duelz have records indicating customer money is not protected and have clean operating records.

  • How it treats complaints

The Commission does not become involved in the resolution of customer complaints and as such, such complaints do not appear on the Commission’s record.

When considering money protection and payment terms, our safe online casino rankings give more value than consideration of fines alone.

Casinos without fines: questions

Which UK casinos have never been fined?

Of the online casinos we review, the companies associated with BoyleSports, Duelz, LiveScore and Midnite do not have fines or settlements on record. Nor do their associated brands. BoyleSports’s record is clean from 2014.

How do I check if a casino has been fined?

Go to the Regulatory Actions tab for the license holder on the Gambling Commission public register. Note that the Commission only keeps records of recent regulatory actions. You can therefore search the Commission’s enforcement bulletins, or consult our list of penalties from 2021, to determine if an action was taken against the license holder in previous years.

Has Grosvenor Casino been fined?

Rank Interactive (Gibraltar), the company that presently operates Grosvenor, has not. Previously, in 2022, Rank Digital Gaming (Alderney) Limited, which operated Grosvenor through the website grosvenorcasino.com, agreed to pay a settlement of £700,557.

Has BoyleSports been fined by the Gambling Commission?

No, BoyleSports Enterprise has not. BoyleSports Enterprise has a casino license from November 2014. Since 2021, neither the license register nor the enforcement bulletins of the Commission contain a sanction against BoyleSports Enterprise.

Has Casumo been fined?

Yes, previously, the Commission fined Casumo Services Limited, £6,000,000 in March 2021. Recro Limited, which has held the Casumo License since December 2023, has not been subject to any enforcement by the Commission.

Has MrQ been fined?

The current operator, Tek Fox, has not been subject to any enforcement by the Commission. Previously, the Commission found Lindar Media, the other company that operated MrQ, in breech of the license conditions and Lindar Media agreed to pay the Commission a settlement of £690,947 in September 2023.

Does a Gambling Commission fine mean a casino is unsafe?

Not on its own; the Commission does not normally revoke a license. You should look at the reasons for the infringement and the date the infringement occurred to determine if the same company continues to hold the license.

Are casinos not on Gamstop free of Commission fines?

Only because the Commission is unable to fine them since they are not operating under a license issued by the Commission. They do not have any of the services and protections offered by a UK license.
